If you are a victim of Identity Theft here are some tips

  1. Report stolen identity to credit bureaus
  2. Ask for them to send free credit report
  3. Ask for names and phones for any credit grantors that is fraudulent
  4. If card has been used, get new cards.
  5. Notify Financial Institution
  6. If cards used order new ATM/POS cards if necessary.
  7. Close existing account and open a new account
