ChoiceOne Bank Announces New Brand as Merger Nears Completion

ChoiceOne Financial Services, Inc. (Nasdaq: COFS) (“ChoiceOne”), the parent company of ChoiceOne Bank and Lakestone Bank & Trust, today introduced a new logo and brand as the two banks prepare to merge into one as ChoiceOne Bank.

New ChoiceOne Bank Logo.

“In May, our two century-old, high-performing community banks will become one – ChoiceOne Bank,” said ChoiceOne CEO and President Kelly Potes. “Located on opposites sides of our great state, and bridging two of our Great Lakes, we are excited to introduce our new logo and brand to support our growing community bank franchise.”

From now until May, customers from both banks will begin seeing announcements and updates on the ChoiceOne Bank and Lakestone Bank & Trust websites, social media channels, and advertising.

“One of the most iconic symbols of Michigan is its Great Lakes,” said ChoiceOne Vice President of Marketing Danielle Chateauvert. “The Lakes are represented in the wave, in addition to the blue and green hues found in their waters. Additionally, this color combination is not found among our competitors – allowing our new logo to exist as a stand-alone mark. With the growth of ChoiceOne, our logo and overall brand now supports the Bank’s vision to be the best bank in Michigan.”

ChoiceOne will fully implement the new logo and overall brand on May 18. Customers will benefit from an expanded footprint of 29 offices in Michigan. Their favorite bankers will continue to greet and take care of them and provide local expertise and decisions in the communities served.

“Naturally as community banks, our teams excel at customer relations and community service,” said Potes. “Together with our excellent management teams and similar cultures, we have leveraged our best technology, innovative services, and the most efficient operations from each bank to enhance our growth going forward. Now spanning Michigan, ChoiceOne Bank will offer our customers and our communities the best of the best…with an exciting new brand.”
